Bird spikes can be used to deter a wide range of mid- to large sized birds.

Higher density spike systems are also available to guard against smaller birds such as starlings from roosting. Seagull spikes will be a lot longer than pigeon spikes, for example, as they have much longer legs.

If you have a bird problem involving both species, seagull spikes would be the best choice as they will still deter pigeons, whereas a seagull could simply stand over a pigeon spike.
